January 2, 2012
Dear parents and students: The following letter will outline 2012 Fees, new convenient payment options, and late fees.
2012 Fee Structure: We have done our best on not raising our prices for over two years, we have seen overhead costs pushed to historic levels and we are unable to mitigate the current costs any longer. Thus, it is necessary to announce price changes, effective Jan 1 2012. With that said the increases are very low and we will implement new convenient ways to pay.
For information on our prices please contact our main office, 403-273-5900
Payment options for your convenience
Yoon’s martial arts school will also start accepting recurring payments in the New Year. As a school we never believed in contracts so we will implement recurring payments with a no contract structure
Recurring option: PayPal Subscriptions and Recurring Payments are an easy way to pay club dues, while staying in complete control of your account at all times. Start or cancel anytime at your convenience. To set up this option please email us at hapkidoyoon@gmail.com
Cash: Please bring in cash the day it is due. Please keep in mind that cash payments are subject to late charges if they are late
Cheque: Cheques can be payable to Yoons Martial Arts School on the day monthly fees are due. Please keep in mind that late cheque payments are subject to late charges.
Things to remember about cheque and cash payments:
• If you mark a cheque postdated you must inform the reception of this.
• If your cheque bounces you will be charged a $35 NSF fee.
• It is your responsibility to remember your due date. You can ask reception when your due date is.
• A months notice should be given if the student intends to leave the school, or take vacation. Refunds of paid fees cannot be made under any circumstances.
• In case of injury, or medical issues, we can credit your account, but we must be informed. (A credit is not a refund)
Late fees: Late fees have been a concern to our school for quite some time. With careful consideration we have implemented a late charge policy. You will be given a one-week grace period with no late fee. For every business Week after the grace period we will bill your account a five dollar per week late fee. Our business days are Monday – Saturday.
In all fairness, we do understand that at times you may not be financially ready to make a payment. In this case you must bring the situation to our attention in person, by phone, or Email before your payment is due, and we will do our best to work something out. If however your situation is not brought to our attention then late fees will be charged to your account, no exceptions.
Our main priority is to give students top quality martial arts instruction to do so we would appreciate the cooperation of both parents and students, so we as instructors can spend our time instructing rather than acting as bill collectors. If you have any concerns, or questions please don’t hesitate to contact us at, 273 5900. Thank you for your cooperation.
Sincerely
Master Byung Ock Yoon Instructor Bobby Triantafillou
