Dear Parents and Students, (please read this letter in its entirety)
We wish to inform you that Yoon's Martial Arts School will be having 2 summer day caps this year. One will run from July 14th to July 18th and the other will run from August 11th to August 15th.
Our summer Day camps will give students the advantage to perfect their techniques and further their Hap Ki Do training. It is time spent building their self-confidence and learning an acceptable code of behavior, manners and discipline. It is a week of camaraderie and true sportsmanship. We believe that our camp is not only educational and valuable, but a great way for our students to spend a fun week.
Typically this day camp usually puts students about 2-3 months ahead in their training. The summer day camp will take place at Yoon’s Martial Arts School, and some activities will take place at the MCFC school field and gymnasium.
Activities that will be done: *Self defence *Kicking *Pattern *Shoulder roll *Hapkido special techniques *Korean wrestling *Martial Arts Games *Sparring *Obstacle Course *Team Sports *Meditation *Team Work activities *Various martial art skill competitions, that will be awarded with prizes. Due to quality of care and instruction, we are opening each camp to 80 students, on a first come first serve basis. Last years camp was completely booked. Reserve your spots today. Students who attend the summer camp must bring the following items: LUNCH (healthy) SNACK (healthy) BOTTTLED WATER (at least 1litre) RUNNING SHOES CAP OR HAT UNIFORM RECREATIONAL CLOTHES (Shorts or track pants) SUN SCREEN PLEASE LABEL (WITH PEN OR FELT MARKER) THESE ITEMS WITH THE CHILD’S NAME OR INITIALS *Important for students who don’t attend the camp* The camp is only on weekdays and following is the slight change to the regular class schedule: The only children class of the day will be from 6:00 pm to 7:00pm for white to black belts, for students that do not attend the camp. Summer camp will be from 8:00 am to 4:00pm. Drop off is at Yoon's Martial Arts school. Children are welcome to wait at the Yoon's Martial Arts until parents can pick them up. The school will be opened at 7:45am. SPACE IS LIMITED, APPLICATIONS ARE ACCEPTED ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS. DEADLINE FOR THE SUMMER DAY CAMP APPLICATION FORMS ARE JULY 9th 2008 The cost of the camp is set at a very reasonable price (please see attached page). Compare this to other camps and you will see the difference.
